Consumer Protection Law
Ever since the amendment to the National Constitution and the passing of Law 24,240, both in the mid-1990s, Argentina –following a global trend – adapted its legislation to introduce further consumer protection provisions. The control of commercial operations with impact on the market brought about many administrative changes at the national, provincial and municipal regulatory levels, having had, in turn, a deep impact on companies, forcing them not only to adapt to the changes and new regulations, but also to act proactively in the new front. G. BREUER offers services in this area of practice to leading companies affected by these changes, including acting before the administrative and judicial authorities in the protection of their interests.
