Fabio Carlo is specialized in the field of metrology, optics, fiber optics, telecommunications and sensors in general, petroleum exploitation, steel industry, seismology, musical instruments, nuclear physics, lighting systems, medical devices, photography, level and volume indicators, time control devices, anti-theft systems and coin operated machinery, among others.
He graduated as a physicist from the University of Buenos Aires in 1990. He is also a certified Industrial Property Agent and a member of the Asociación Argentina de Agentes de la Propiedad Industrial (AAAPI) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). He joined G. Breuer in 2000.
He completed a fellowship at the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), was assistant professor at the Lab of Liquid Systems at the Engineering School of the University of Buenos Aires, and professor of Physics and Robotics at a technical school. He worked as a patent examiner at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), and as a patent technical consultant for Latin America at a multinational corporation.
He has participated in several patent courses hosted by the Madrid Patent Office, Spain, by the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich, Germany, and by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
